HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1-1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. can tomato puree (tomato soup may be used)
Peeled, sliced potatoes
1-2 lg. onions, sliced
Salt
Pepper

Brown ground beef. Drain well. Alternate layers of sliced potatoes, sliced onion and browned ground beef. Pour tomato puree over all. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350-375 degrees until done (1-1 1/2 hours). Can also be fixed in electric skillet, the amounts can be varied for a larger or smaller casserole. Idaho potatoes work best. Do not let it go dry - potatoes have different degrees of moisture.
