2 c. mashed figs
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 drops almond extract

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Pour into pie pan lined with sweet dough. Cover filling with more sweet dough. Bake at 360 degrees until done.

1 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
