Cream together:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter

Add:

1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar

Stir in:

1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour

Set oven at 350 degrees. Arrange by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Press flat with fork which has been dipped in sugar. Bake about 10 minutes. Do not overcook or the cookies will become to dry.
