GERMAN COFFEE CAKE 
CAKE:

1/2 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla. Add flour and beat. Add nuts. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle half of the topping on batter. Run knife through batter and swirl around. Add rest of batter and cover with rest of topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
