CRUST:

1 c. flour
1 c. pecans
1 stick butter

Work flour, pecans and butter together with fingers. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.

PIE:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 (12 or 13 oz.) cool whip
1 lg. pkg. chocolate instant pudding

Mix cream cheese, sugar and 1/2 of cool whip; beat together and pour over cooled crust. Prepare pudding according to package directions. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Top with rest of cool whip. Keep cool. Let stand 1 to 2 hours before serving.
