RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix butter, vanilla and sugar. Sift and stir in flour and salt; mix in nuts. Chill. Roll in 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet 2 1/2 inches apart. Bake until set and not broken (10-12 minutes at 400 degrees). While still warm, roll in powdered sugar; cool and roll in sugar again.
