RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. nuts

Mix butter and sugar. Add vanilla, flour, salt and then nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 2 1/4 inches apart on greased sheet. Bake until brown. While still warm roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Bake at 400 degrees 10 to 12 minutes. Yields about 4 dozen.
