RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES 
1 c. unsalted butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and salt; blend well. Add flour and blend well again. Add nuts. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Take out and roll in confectioners' sugar. Allow to cool and roll again. Makes 4 dozen.

Substitute mini chips, crumbled toffee chips, etc.
