RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES | |
1 lb. butter, softened 1 c. 10X sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 4 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, vanilla and pecans. Mix well together. Shape into balls. (Easier if chilled first.) Place balls on a greased cookie sheet and bake 14 to 17 minutes at 400 degrees. Roll in 10X sugar immediately, then again when cool. You will use about a pound of 10X sugar. 8 dozen. |
