RED VELVET CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. Wesson oil
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 oz. red food color
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. vinegar

Mix in order given. Makes 3 layers. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

RED VELVET ICING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix. Frost cake.
