ORANGE ANGEL FOOD CAKE DESSERT | |
1 envelope Knox gelatin 1 c. boiling water 1 c. sugar 1 c. orange juice Juice of 1 lemon 1 pt. whipping cream 2 cans mandarin oranges 1 sm. angel food cake Dissolve gelatin in cold water, then in boiling water. Add sugar. Stir and add orange juice and lemon juice. When stiff, beat, and fold in small pieces of broken-up angel food cake, drained oranges from 1 can mandarin oranges, and half of whipped cream. Fill a 9x13 inch glass dish, cover top with rest of whipping cream, and decorate over the top with the other can of oranges. Let set overnight or a few hours. |
