WILLIAM AND MARY CHICKEN
CASSEROLE
 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli spears
2 c. or more sliced cooked chicken
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 c. mayonnaise
2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken soup
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
Parmesan cheese

Cook broccoli until tender. Arrange in greased casserole. Sprinkle on finely chopped onion, then chicken. Combine mayonnaise, soup, lemon juice and curry. Spread over chicken. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bread crumbs that have been tossed with 1 tablespoon melted butter. Shake Parmesan over top. Bake at 350 degrees until hot bubbly and brown 30 to 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
