SCALLOPED POTATO CASSEROLE 
6 to 8 med. potatoes
1 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. salt

Boil potatoes in water for 15 to 20 minutes, peel and slice. Then layer potatoes, onion, and cheese in casserole dish. Dot each layer with butter. Combine soup, milk, salt, and pepper and pour over the potato, cheese, and onion layers. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
