STUFFED MUSHROOMS
Easy to make and great for tailgating! You friends will think it took forever to make but they will never know.

white button mushrooms
Italian sausage "bulk" (not in casing)
grated Parmesan cheese

Wash mushrooms. You can buy them pre-washed. Remove stems from mushrooms and discard. Fill stem cavity with sausage. Take mushroom and sausage combo and roll in grated Parmesan cheese (sausage side down).

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes and check. Make sure they do not stick to the pan. Cook for another 15 minutes.

P.S. I have used different types of sausage. I like the hot type but that is not for everybody. If you can not find bulk sausage (I used to live in Chicago where it was common, that is not the case in Tennessee) just use Johnsonville sausage and cut it out of the casing).

Have loved and used this recipe for years. I use Reese's hot sausage. The combination of mushrooms and sausage is unreal. Could make a meal out of this!
