BUTTER CREAM FROSTING 
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar

Mix flour and milk in a saucepan, heating and mixing until the mixture becomes thick; cool.

Mix the butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour mixture and vanilla; beat until the consistency of whipped cream. Spread on a cooled cake.
