CHRISTMAS RAINBOW POKE CAKE 
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jello
1 (3 oz.) box red Jello, your choice
2 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into 2 round pans with 8 or 9 inch. Do not use pan with removable bottoms. Bake as directed on package; cool 10 minutes. Remove cake from pans. Cool completely. Place cake layer top sides up back into pans. Pick each layer with utility fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Dissolve the red Jello with 1 cup of boiling water; pour over 1 layer of cake. Then dissolve green Jello in one cup of boiling water. Pour over other layer of cake. Refrigerate 3-4 hours. Remove cakes from pans. Place on a large plate the layer on top of this layer and frost sides and top with whip topping.
