OPEN BLUEBERRY PIE 
1 qt. blueberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cold water
1/4 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. butter

Wash berries, take 1 pint, cook with water and bring to a boil. Add cornstarch, salt and sugar; bring it to a boil, cook to thicken. Remove from heat. Add butter and lemon juice; mix. Line cooked pie shell with 1 pint of washed berries. Pour cooked berries over fresh berries and set. Serve with whipped cream.
