12 potatoes (at least) 1 lb. fresh pork sausage 1 lb. fresh ground beef Salt and pepper FOR DOUGH: Flour Water Salt 1. Cook potatoes. Mash. 2. Brown meat together using salt and pepper. 3. Drain excess grease. 4. Use flour, water and salt for dough. Put enough water in the flour until it gets so you can work with it. 5. Mix meat with potatoes. Just enough mashed potatoes to hold meat together. Roll out dough, cut into large enough pieces for a few spoonfuls of meat inside. Fold over dough, moistening edges with water, making sure there is no holes in the claskies. Press edges with a fork. 6. Put into boiling water. Pan should be quite big. Claskies will go to the bottom at first. When they come to the top and boil for about 5-10 minutes they are done. |
