SWEET BREAD 
2 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
5 to 6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 c. warm milk
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cold water

Combine yeast and warm water, set aside. Sift flour and salt set aside. Beat eggs in small bowl. Combine milk and butter in mixing bowl. Beat in sugar. Add the yeast and beaten eggs. Mix well. Add 4 cups flour mix well. Add extra flour to make soft dough.

Knead on floured surface. Butter large bowl and add dough. Let stand in warm place until double in bulk. Punch dough down and knead briefly. Divide dough in half shape into flattened round shape. Place in two buttered 8 inch round cake pans.

Let rise about 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield: 2 loaves.
