VICKI'S ALMOND BRITTLE 
This is addictive! No one can eat just one piece and for those of you like myself that don't care for peanut brittle... you will be surprised, try it!

1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 stick margarine (Imperial or Blue Bonnet work best)
1 tbsp. clear Karo syrup

In medium size skillet over medium heat combine all ingredients together and cook till bubbly and it starts to turn light brown.

Remove from heat and quickly pour onto cookie sheet and spread till about 1/8-inch thick.

Cool, break into pieces and ENJOY!!!
