MARSHMALLOW TREATS 
1/4 c. butter
1 (10 oz.) pkg. reg. marshmallows, about 40 or 4 c. miniature marshmallows
5 c. Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal

Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Cook over low heat 3 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Cut into squares when cool. Yields 24 squares, 2 x 2 inches.

NOTE: Best results are obtained when using fresh marshmallows. To make thicker squares, press warm mixture into buttered 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
