MARSHMALLOW CRISPY TREATS 
Prep time: 10 minutes plus cooling.

Microwave cooking time: 2 minutes 15 seconds.

1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1 pkg. (10 1/2 oz.) Kraft miniature marshmallows
6 c. crisp rice cereal

Microwave butter in large microwave-safe bowl on HIGH 45 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows; toss to coat with butter.

Microwave 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth when stirred, stirring after 45 seconds.

Immediately add cereal; mix lightly until well coated. Press into greased 13x9 inch baking pan.

Cool; cut into squares. Makes about 24.

Gift giving tip: For holiday shapes, let mixture cool 10 minutes after mixing in cereal. Create desired shapes (snowman, bell, star, etc.) by pressing mixture into greased metal cookie cutters or by forming with greased hands. Turn out onto greased wax paper. Decorate, as desired, with assorted candies.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
