1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 oz. cream cheese
2 1/4 c. plain flour, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add to creamed mixture. If dough is sticky, add 1 to 2 teaspoon flour. Use cookie press and form cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees or lower for 12 to 51 minutes until lightly browned. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Makes 100 or more.
