CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. vanilla

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. minute maid frozen lemon juice (more if needed for desired consistency)

Cream sugar and butter (at room temperature) until fluffy. Add eggs; mix thoroughly. Add flour, a little at a time; mix thoroughly. Add vanilla. Refrigerate until cool. Roll out about 1/4 of the dough on lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1/2 to 1/4 inches. Cut into cookies using holiday cookie cutters. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Cool and glaze.
