EGG BREAD 
1/4 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
5 c. flour
2 pkgs. yeast (or 1 tbsp.)
2 eggs
4 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. warm water
Egg wash (1 egg yolk mixed with 1 tbsp. water)
Sesame or poppy seeds

Mix together 2 cups flour and rest of ingredients (except egg wash and seeds). Put in mixer and mix well. Stir in rest of flour, then knead. Let set until double, approximately 1 hour. Punch down and knead.

Divide into 6 equal pieces; let rest 10 minutes. Roll each piece into long, skinny shape, about 15 inches long. Braid into 2 loaves, beginning in the middle. Put on greased cookie sheet; spread with egg wash and sprinkle on seeds. Let raise 45 minutes (until doubled). Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
