1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. molasses
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ginger
1 egg

Cream butter, molasses and sugar. Beat in egg; add dry ingredients. Chill dough about 2 hours. Roll out 1/8 inch thick. Cut with gingerbread man cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes.
