SHRIMP - CHEESE BALL | |
3 c. water 1 lb. medium size fresh shrimp 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 tbsp. prepared horseradish 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. grated onion 1 tsp. liquid smoke 1/4 c. chopped pecans 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley Bring water to boil, add shrimp. Cook 3-5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Chill, peel shrimp and chop. Combine cream cheese, shrimp, horseradish, lemon juice, onion and liquid smoke; mix well. Shape into a ball and chill. Combine pecans and parsley, roll in mixture and chill several hours or overnight. |
