CREAM OF POTATO SOUP 
8 lg. potatoes, peeled and diced
1 lg. onion, chopped

Cook in large pot in water (just enough to cover potatoes). Cook until potatoes are soft and most of water is absorbed. Mash potatoes in pot with remaining water.

Add:

1 can cream of celery soup

Mix well.

Add:

1/2 carton half and half
3 1/2 c. milk

Continue heating on low heat until completely hot but do not boil.
