2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. Nestle's Quick
1 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour and sugar together. In saucepan, bring to boil 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup oil, 4 tablespoons Nestle's Quick, and 1 cup of water. Pour the mixture over flour and sugar. Mix at low speed; add 2 beaten eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch dish at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Icing: Bring to boil: 1 stick butter, 4 tablespoons Nestle's Quick, and 5-6 tablespoons milk. Remove from heat; add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 cup chopped nuts. Mix well and pour over cake.
