SUPPER-ON-A-SLICE 
1 loaf French bread
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 sm. jar spaghetti sauce
4 slices cheese, cut in strips
Aluminum foil

Slice loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Place each half, crust side down on a sheet of foil 1 to 1 1/2 inches longer all around than bread.

Mix enough sauce with meat to make it spreadable. Spread meat mixture evenly on each half of bread. Bring foil up around each bread half, crimping together at ends to form snug, boat-shaped holders. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.

Arrange strips of cheese over tops and bake 5 minutes longer. Cut bread across diagonally into 4-5 inch serving slices.
