CRANBERRY - ORANGE BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. orange peel (Spice Island Seasoning)
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. water
1 egg, beaten
1 c. raw cranberries, cut in halves

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 inches. Measure flour by dip-level-pour method or sift. Blend dry ingredients. Mix in shortening, orange peel, juice, water and egg. Fold in cranberries. Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour. Cool thoroughly before slicing with a thin sharp knife.
