HONEY - GLAZED APPLES 
5 med. cooking apples, about 2 lbs.
2 tbsp. water
1/4 c. honey
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
Dash of ground nutmeg

Cut apples in half lengthwise, core. Place apples, cut side up, in a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Add water. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon into apple cavities. Cover dish with aluminum foil; bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until apples are tender. Yield: 10 servings.
