HOME PIZZA SAUCE 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. mushrooms, sliced
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. Monterey or Mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 c. black olives, sliced
1/2 c. bell pepper, sliced (raw)

In medium saucepan, brown ground beef; drain off excess grease. Add onions, mushrooms, spices, and saute over medium heat. Add tomato sauce and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Spread on pizza dough and add the cheeses, olives, bell peppers, and any other desired toppings. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes.
