TACO SAUCE PIZZAS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Brown beef in medium skillet with onions, stirring until crumbly; drain excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer covered for 10 minutes. Spread sauce on open hamburger buns. Top with Velveeta or other cheese. Put in oven under broiler just until cheese melts.

Note: Fill can also be used to bill about 10 taco shells. Leftovers are great chili for hot dogs, too.
