THE WORLD'S BEST COOKIE 
1 c. butter flavored Crisco
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped

Cream the Crisco, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla together in a large mixing bowl until well mixed. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda and add a bit at a time to the shortening and sugar mixture until well blended together. Next, blend in oatmeal and coconut until well mixed. Lastly, fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.

Use 1/4 cup of batter for 1 cookie. Bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool slightly before removing from the cookie sheet.
