EASY POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. mace

Place all ingredients in bowl in order given. Beat at medium speed for 6 minutes. Bake in well greased tube or 13 x 9 inch pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 to 2 hours. Recipe can be doubled for a 12 x 18 inch pan. Cool on rack. Frost with either of the following:

BUTTER FROSTING:

2 eggs
1 box 10x sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. cream

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1/4 lb. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box 10x sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

NOTE: 1/2 to 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts can be added to frosting.
