SOUR CREAM RAISIN CAKE 
1 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped raisins
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, sour cream and well beaten egg yolks. Sift flour with soda, salt, baking powder and spices and combine with first mixture. Add raisins which have been dredged in 2 tablespoons of flour. Add extract, then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in greased pans at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes. Put almond filling between layers and frost with Seven-Minute Frosting.
