FRESH STRAWBERRY GLACE PIE 
1 baked pie shell
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. strawberries, reserved from quart
3/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. lemon juice

Simmer reserved berries and water about 3-4 minutes. Combine cornstarch and sugar; add to cooked fruit. Cook until syrup is thick and glossy. Cool slightly. Pour over whole berries which have been placed in pie shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
