GERMAN CASSEROLE 
Oven 350 degrees. Lightly butter dish 1 1/2 quart. Peel and slice potatoes thin. Brown beef (hamburger) in skillet. Alternate potatoes and beef ending up with beef. Pour 1 can vegetable soup and 1/2-3/4 cold water on top. Salt and pepper. Cover and bake 1 hour.
