FRUIT CAKE BARS 
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. plain flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. chopped, candied cherries
1/2 lb. chopped, candied pineapple

Spread pecans over bottom of pan greased with oil. Combine flour, eggs, brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Pour over pecans. Spread cherries and pineapple over batter.

Bake 1 hour at 300°F.
