SPICY SHORT RIBS | |
3 lbs. short ribs 1/4 c. flour 2 tbsp. shortening 1 can beef broth 1 c. dried apricots 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. vinegar (cider) 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/4 tsp. allspice Dust ribs with flour - brown in shortening in skillet on stove. Drain. Combine remaining ingredients. Place browned ribs in crock pot or slow cooker and pour remaining ingredients over ribs. Cook until done, 2 1/2 - 3 hours. |
