PEANUT BRITTLE | |
2 c. sugar 1 c. white Karo syrup 1 c. raw Spanish peanuts 1/4 c. water 1 tsp. baking soda Mix together sugar, water, and syrup in a large pan until mixed well. Add peanuts and continue cooking until it is a pale caramel color. Add baking soda and stir until well blended. Spread on a hot buttered cookie sheet (not too thin). After candy cools, break it into pieces. |
