CORN FRITTERS 
1 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 c. drained whole kernel corn

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Blend milk and egg. Add gradually to dry ingredients. Stir in corn. Drop from spoon into hot fat. Drain on paper towel. Roll in powdered sugar if desired.
