GLAZED APPLE CAKE 
4 c. apples
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

1. Mix chopped apples and sugar. Set aside for 45 minutes.

2. Mix eggs, oil and vanilla. Add to apple and sugar.

3. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in nuts.

4. Bake in greased and floured bundt or tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

5. Cool 30 minutes and remove from pan.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

1. Mix butter and sugar together and heat over a low flame.

2. Add 1/4 cup evaporated milk and stir until it comes to a full boil.

3. Remove from heat and cool.

4. Stir in vanilla when glaze has cooled.

5. Drip evenly over cooled apple cake.
