DONNA'S BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
5 tsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs

ICING:

1 stick butter
5 tsp. cocoa
6 tsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
2 c. chopped pecans

Mix sugar, flour, and baking soda together in a bowl. In a saucepan, mix butter, water, and cocoa. Heat and pour over dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and eggs. Blend thoroughly. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Make icing and pour over hot cake.

ICING: Heat butter, cocoa, and milk. Add powdered sugar and pecans. Mix with a whisk for smooth texture.
