CHESS PIE 
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. corn meal

Soften butter; don't melt. Cream softened butter with sugar; beat well. Add flour, corn meal and eggs. Pour in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into pie shell.

Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.
