STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 med. head cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork sausage
1 c. rice, cooked
Salt to taste
1 egg, raw
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tsp. pressed garlic
1 lb. sauerkraut
1 can tomato juice

Place cabbage in large pot. Pour boiling water over it to soften leaves. Let sit while you mix together meat, rice, salt, onion, garlic and egg. Cool cabbage if necessary by cold water. In each leaf place a portion of meat mixture. Roll up and tuck in both ends. Place in large pan on a bed of chopped up cabbage. Cover all with sauerkraut and pour on tomato juice to cover. Simmer 3 to 4 hours or all day on low in crock pot.
