FROSTED SALAD | |
1 lg. pkg. lemon gelatin 1 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water 2 c. 7-UP 3 bananas, sliced 1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained 2 c. miniature marshmallows 1 c. pineapple juice 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. (heaping) flour 2 pkg. dessert topping mix (whipped) 1/2 c. finely shredded coconut 1/2 c. chopped nuts Salt Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and 7-UP. Chill until slightly thick. Add bananas, pineapple, and marshmallows. Chill until firm. Cook pineapple juice, sugar, flour, and salt until thick. Cool. Fold in dessert topping mix. Spread over congealed salad. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts. |
