ANGEL BISCUIT 
6 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Sift all other dry ingredients together; cut in shortening. Add yeast and buttermilk. Knead well (may need to add more flour). Roll out and cut into biscuits. Bake in hot oven at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes. May be well covered and kept in refrigerator overnight.
