DARK OATMEAL BREAD 
1 c. oatmeal
2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. molasses
1 pt. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast
1/3 c. water
5 1/2 c. flour

Mix oatmeal, salt, molasses, oil and boiling water. Let cool. Add yeast and water. Add flour and knead. Let rise 1 1/2 hour punch down and let rise again 1 1/2 hour. Put into tins and let rise 1 1/2 hours.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
